Feature Film
Stage of Development: Treatment
Part mystery, part love story, part redemption tale, the award winning East of Berlin poses the question, "what would you do if you found out your father was a monster?" A German youth growing up in post-WWII Paraguay with his expat family learns that his father had been an SS doctor in Auschwitz, performing unspeakable experiments on its inmates. Consumed with anger and shame, the young man flees to Berlin, where he meets a Jewish American girl and attempts to invent a new life… until the past catches up with him. Suspenseful, emotional, and at times disarmingly funny, East of Berlin shows how the past never really leaves us.

Feature Film
Stage of Development: Treatment
A gritty Western set in the smallpox-ridden prairies of 1870s Alberta and Saskatchewan – a harsh landscape across which travels Laird Wallace, who will stop at nothing to get eight vials of vaccine home to his wife and daughter. His journey resonates with a chilling, post-apocalyptic bent, as the only Indians he meets on the trail are dead; all victims of the pox. But the trail holds other, more dangerous encounters, as the need for the vaccine drives fellow travelers and homesteaders to ruthless, often violent extremes.
